Dr. med. univ. Matthias A. Biemer
My Interest in Emergency Medicine began to rise when I first attended the fire police department as a trainee in 1988. I made my decision to join the German Army as a red cross soldier where I was fully trained as an emergency medical assistant.
Within my studies at the Semmelweis University of Budapest, Hungary I was able to visit and partly join several emergency departments in France, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan and Hungary.
In 2005 I successfully ended my studies with cum laude as Dr.med.univ. A. Biemer
Straight out of University I was hired as an assistant doctor of surgery- and traumatology at the "Chriurgische Klinik Dr. Rinecker", one of Bavaria's most influential private surgical hospitals, acting also as teaching hospital for the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
My duties mainly consisted in working in the emergency room and intensive care unit. I was able to take part in many furthered education programmes such as specifications for intensive care units and emergency medicine.
In the end of 2008 I transferred myself to the Clinic of Dachau in the suburbs of Munich where I now work as an assistant doctor for all kinds of Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic, Micro and Hand surgery. In addition I still am a member of the voluntary fire police department and act as a supervisor for first aid emergencies in Starnberg near Munich.
CEC - Compact Emergency Course Organization was successfully established in the beginning of 2008 by me and my very well experienced former colleague Dr. Helmut Wegmann whose motto "Be better than yesterday" is now the leading rule in our offered emergency courses.
Ever since we are providing all kind of courses surrounding the emergency medidine topic, including passing on theoretical and practical knowledge in medicine of adult and children emergencies. Resuscitation trainings on puppets, training on the ECG, disaster medicine, toxicology and studying whole cases by role playing for doctors and nurses take part in our programme.
We are able to provide all of our high quality PowerPoint Presentations in English, Russian and of course in German. We also are experienced in working with interpreters. With great success two of our bilingual courses were held in Azerbaijan's capitol city Baku.
Questions occurring during the courses are very welcome to us. All our Presentations are kept up to date and all the Information passed on to the participants is taken from the latest literature.
Whilst our courses we provide scripts and handouts.
We are free to adapt every course to the individual wishes of our Participants and clients.
